Blessed Sacrament Church, Jackson Heights, Brooklyn, New York

John Tiedemann Inc. has specialized in liturgical restoration for almost 70 years. Blessed Sacrament Church is an ideal example. The church had become fairly dilapidated since its inception, so John Tiedemann Inc.’s artisans and craftsmen, along with Troy Simmons, Liturgical Architect of MPSB Architectural Design, were commissioned to do a complete interior design and painting, plus extensive faux woodwork, stenciling, gilding, new murals, gold leaf star scenes and restoration of the Stations of the Cross. The interior of the church was successfully restored to reflect the original art deco design.
